i bought a ZTe Card R-Connect.

i bought a ZTe Card R-Connect. the store guy told me its broadband and it wud be 256KBps… i was wondered and promptly bought it. after connecting, it shows speed of 1-3 KBps… so, i called up the store guy and he stopped answerin my calls after some repeated attempts.
then i called the manager and he informed that the speed is only 114KBps.. then only i knew that i was fooled. i registered a complaint and the speed was very low. after repeated attempts and spending hours on phone i finally took the card with my laptop to the service center (mysore). they dint even have a laptop or another ZTe card to test with. i dont know what kind of service they do over there without an extra card
they checked my laptop and found that it do not have any issue and their broadband shows up good connexion speed. they replaced the card(thats what they said) ,and even then the the speed is the same
finally a service engineer came to my place after 2 months . ihad to pay the first month bill even though i had not used it as the laptop was under service.. i dont know if it charges you even if you are not connected
then the service engineer updated the firmware of the card and installed updated s/w and finally found that the connection speed increased to 30KBps and he said that was the maximum
i do agree that is a fairly good connexion.but when you buy an internet connexion for 5500/- and more that 1000/- pm we would at least need a download speed of 80KBps for video conferencing. that is sole purpose i bought this card
and listening to their troubleshooting steps to make the connexion betta(installing antivirus, antispyware, download accelerators) they are belittling themselves and they have the worst service in the whole world.
im forced to buy a new connexion preferably airtel broadband. and i wont be getting a refund.
so, I WOULD STRONGLY REQUEST AND RECOMMEND EVERYONE WHO VISITS THIS WEBSITE OR SEE THIS COMMENT TO FORGET EVEN THE SLIGHTEST THOUGHT OF PURCHASING ANY KIND OF INTERNET CONNEXION FROM RELIANCE BECAUSE THEY ARE LIARS AND THEY ARE CHEATERS. THEY HAVE THE WORST SERVICE IN THE WORLD AND THE WORST TECHNICIANS. PLEASE LET ALL THE INTERNET USERS KNOW ABOUT IT
THEY DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT A PROMISE IS OR RELIANCE DOES NOT HAVE A CONSUMER FRIENDLY SERVICE. THEY ARE THE WORST!!

I have no idea about Reliance, but have somewhat same experience with TataIndicom!
I paid and filled up forms along with all necessary documents and the guy said that I will get the connection running within 4 working days. If not in 4 it will for sure in 7 working days.
Its almost 1 month and 4 days now but nothing has been done! What the hell are they doing ?
I'm fed up of calling him all the time. Also now he too learned to handover his cell to other friends whenever I called.
By reading your post, I'm asking IS THERE ANY GOOD COMPANY OR PEOPLE OUT THER WHO DOES WHAT THEY SAYS WHILE SELLING THEIR PRODUCTS/SERVICES ???
THEY JUST KEEP PEOPLE FOOLING, ONE YOU BECOME THEIR CUSTOMER ONLY MOTTO THEY HAVE IS TO SCREW US.

I 2 agree with U. Reliance broadband is the worst internet service I hav ever seen. Even small private internet services are far better than their services. They wont give even half of the speed they offered. And ther will be frequent disconnections . Line will be dead even for one month. When I hav complained about speed (nearly 20 times) after 40 they hav responded saying that ther is no problem with ther service and the problem is with my system(without checking my highly configured pc). If we complain about the disconnection they will respond after 1 week even it can take whole month. And the cost is rediculus including the tax and for the calls that we hav not made from the landline. They wont give even the waver for the calls. So my dear friends never use RELIANCE services
